The tour of the Occupation of Paris begins with an overview of the historical circumstances that led to the defeat in June 1940. The tour starts near one of the three historic Jewish quarters of Paris and takes place in three stages.

The first step will concern the daily life of Parisians under the Occupation through the eyes of anonymous people: food, heating, entertainment... Other judgments will make it possible to mention the spoliations of Jewish property, as well as the first requisitioned sites.

The visit will continue with other anecdotes along the way concerning political opponents, for example. But also deported Jews, members of the Resistance or ordinary citizens facing difficult times from day to day.

The second aspect of the tour will shed light on Economic Collaboration in many business sectors. Especially luxury boutiques, banks and the stock market, not to mention the role of the press.

With the Grands Boulevards and the Opera, the third thread of the visit will give a more political and cultural overview of life during the occupation of Paris. Between parades and military fanfares, but also exhibitions, cinemas and shows attracting many Parisians.

From the Opera to the Grands Hôtels on the Rue de Rivoli, many buildings will be requisitioned. In particular the Ritz hotel and the many stories related to it. It will also be an opportunity to talk about the liberation of Paris in August 1944, as well as the events that took place in this area. Once again, little-known anecdotes will alternate with historical facts.

Finally, after a detailed stop at Place de la Concorde, the visit will end with a discussion. On a bench above the square and with photos of witnesses from that troubled period. Notably concerning the works of art stolen by the Nazis from Jews in France and stored nearby.
