Visit of the Paris Courthouse
Discover the Paris Courthouse and go behind the scenes of justice in the heart of a modern building!

About This Experience
With its 38 floors, rising 160 meters above the redeveloped Batignolles district, the building designed by Renzo Piano was awarded the prestigious Équerre d’Argent in 2017, one of France’s top architecture prizes, and stands as a model of environmental innovation.
Today, this site is the largest judicial center in Europe: the Judicial Court, Police Court, Social Security Court (TASS), and its 20 district courts are all brought together in a single entity, along with the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office.
It is now home to 2,000 professionals—judges, clerks, lawyers, and civil servants—serving 6,000 citizens summoned daily. Architecture, modernity, furnishings, and the functioning of the justice system: a comprehensive visit offering insight into a fascinating and complex judicial organization.
At the end of the tour, with your guide Lora Romano, you will be able to access the 90 courtrooms, where you may observe live hearings—civil or criminal cases: immediate appearances, offenses, financial crime, national prosecution, anti-terrorism cases, and more.
