If it is being profoundly transformed today, the East of Paris was For a long time, a popular neighborhood where commerce, crafts, and small industries. This is where were born at the end of the 19th century of new social practices and it was also the crucible of struggles workers, who still mark our era.

For those who want to look for them a little, there are still traces of this past, even if their use has indeed changed: from the simple facade that keeps its entire history displayed and clearly visible up to the factory entire hidden at the bottom of a dead end, in function until the years 80’s, passing through a surprising Art-style shopping gallery Déco, which has kept its stained glass windows, forged balustrades, and cobblestones intact glass. Entertainment is never far away either, with rooms for mythical shows at the entrances, sometimes also reserved for those and those who know.

Behind each door, there may be a courtyard that reveals a pan of history, this tour offers you to open the most emblematic.
