Guided tour of the Paris Commune in Montmartre - Interkultur

About This Experience

Your experience

In 1871, between March and May, it was in the streets of Paris, especially around the Butte Montmartre that one of the most significant events in the history of Paris began: La Commune. Interkultur, an organization of discovery in Paris off the beaten track has decided to reveal all the secrets of this period during a fascinating guided tour where big and small stories, past and present, facts and legends meet. Between the Place Blanche and the Goutte d'Or, you will go to discover the still visible places of this time with a guide who will show you photos and engravings, will draw up the portrait of the key personalities of this revolution as Louise Michel, Eugène Varlin or Adolphe Thiers and will tell you about the functioning of the communes, but also the tragic events of the bloody week. A leap into the past that leaves no one indifferent.
