Exhibition: “Sèvres, a Rothschild passion. From Paris to the Villa Ephrussi”
Enjoy a unique experience at the heart of European elegance

About This Experience
Your experience
The exhibition highlights the role of collectors, patrons and philanthropists played by the Rothschilds, as well as the central figure of Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, collector and patron, through the evocation of the Villa Ephrussi, bequeathed to the Academy of Fine Arts. The guided tour also sheds light on the links between the Manufacture de Sèvres, the European art of living and the great residences of the family.
Thanks to prestigious loans from the Louvre Museum, the Palace of Versailles and international collections, the guided tour offers a structured and sensitive look at the masterpieces presented, while addressing issues of transmission, heritage and memory. An enriching experience to deepen the understanding of works, their context and their circulation in Europe.
