Canauxrama – Cultural cruise on the Canal Saint-Martin
Discover the peaceful waters of the Canal Saint-Martin, lined with century-old trees and spanned by elegant footbridges.

About This Experience
From the Port de l'Arsenal to the Bassin de la Villette, or vice versa
From the Rotonde de Ledoux towards the Parc de la Villette (Cité des Sciences, the Géode, the Zénith, the Cité et Musée de la Musique) and up to the Port de plaisance de Paris-Arsenal (Opéra Bastille, Colonne de Juillet), you will discover this canal with tranquil water bodies, punctuated by the play of locks, lined with plane and chestnut trees, spanned by romantic footbridges.
Is it‐in Paris, a more exotic and seductive urban promenade?
During this cruise, the past, present and future of several neighborhoods merge to form exciting pages of history of an unusual and mysterious Paris, told over water. You will relive the tragic facts but also the most delightful anecdotes.
Perhaps you will have‐a thought for the 504 victims of the Three Glorious Ones who rest in the foot of the July Column... but also for the mummy that Bonaparte brought back from Egypt and which, by mistake, is also there.
You will travel in the company of the Templars, the Mona Lisa and other characters who made the small and the great history of Paris.
What a pleasant way to pass the centenary Crimean lift bridge, the four double locks and the swing bridges!
You will discover this "atmosphere" of Paris, dear to Arletty, and follow in the footsteps of Marcel Carné, who made the Canal Saint-Martin a major film location.
Between each comment of our guide, music and songs from Paris accompany your trip.
