‘Cézanne and Us’ exhibition, from 23 September 2026 to 17 January 2027
Discover the work of Paul Cézanne through nearly 180 works brought together at the Grand Palais, in an exhibition that explores the painter’s profound influence on several generations of artists, from the late 19th century to the present day.
The exhibition juxtaposes Cézanne’s works with those of artists who, each in their own way, have been influenced by his work: Gauguin, Matisse, Picasso, Mondrian, Joan Mitchell and Peter Doig. The exhibition reveals the many ways in which his work has been viewed, interpreted and reinvented over time.
From the early modern artists to contemporary creators, discover how Cézanne broke new ground in painting and profoundly transformed the way we depict the world.
A unique opportunity to rediscover one of the great masters of painting through the eyes of those he inspired, and to appreciate the full richness of his legacy in the history of art.

PLEASE NOTE: tickets are valid for the Cézanne exhibition only until 3 January 2027 at the latest!
