Make a fascinating leap in the history of the Vincennes Castle by walking along its beautiful enclosure, on its covered way or still near its medieval towers.

Inside, you will be able to discover its backstage, and admire the apartments, the council room and the magnificent Sainte-Chapelle with its sacristy, its attic, its stained glass windows and its treasure room. A true witness of medieval architecture, the Vincennes Castle has many stories to tell...

Good to know for your visit

 

Free of charge for children under 18 years old and for 18-25 years old citizens of the European Union.

Your tickets are valid for 9 months.

As part of the Vigipirate program security controls are put in place at the entrance of Parisian museums and monuments. In case of a large attendance, these controls can create a waiting time which cannot be skipped.

 

Admission to the château is free during the European Heritage Days on 21 and 22 September 2024, and on the first Sunday of every month from November to March inclusive.
